On Saturday, December 14th, College Hill in Easton will hold its 2nd annual Luminaria Night.
Last December, over 150 College Hill residents came together as a community and raised $6,000 for people in the Lehigh Valley who experience poverty, hunger, and homelessness. Luminaria Night is a beautiful and enchanted evening when, beginning at dusk, College Hill homes line their streets and sidewalks with luminaria –white paper bags with lit candles. For a $10 donation, you will receive a luminaria kit with 10 votive candles along with white paper lanterns and enough sand to stabilize the bottom of each.

Kits will be delivered to your home on Saturday December 7. The last day to purchase kits through the website is Sunday Dec 1. Interested in helping? The Village needs volunteers to help with the distribution of kits on Dec 7. Please send a note to volunteers@villageoncollegehill.com. All Luminaria Night proceeds benefit New Bethany, a Bethlehem-based non-profit who, since 1985, has offered help and support to over 100,000 lives in the Lehigh Valley experiencing poverty, food insecurity, and homelessness. We invite you to join us for College Hill Luminaria Night 2024 - give to a good cause, light up the neighborhood, and get out and greet your neighbors on December 14!

The Village on College Hill
is a member-driven organization for the College Hill residents of Easton, PA. It serves people 50 and over, providing programs and services so members can lead vibrant, active and healthy lives while living in their own homes. Benefits include access to Member-to-Member services and Discounted Providers who can help manage your household, stay active and healthy, and serve your driving needs. Also, social and cultural programs, which will change to support member interests.
